NJCAA Nationals, Final Results
CHAUTAUQUA, N.Y. –
SUNY Adirondack's Mason MacDougall wrapped up his run at the NJCAA National Golf Championships on Friday with another steady performance, carding a second consecutive +10 at the challenging Chautauqua Golf Club course.
MacDougall's consistent play over the final two rounds lifted him to a 58th-place finish nationally, capping off a strong showing against the country's top collegiate golfers. He posted a four-day total of +57 in his first national championship appearance, representing the Timberwolves with determination and resilience throughout the week.
All week, players battled swirling winds, tight fairways, and tough pin placements at Chautauqua Golf Club. MacDougall, after a tough start earlier in the tournament, bounced back with strong back-to-back rounds that showcased his adaptability and grit.
The NJCAA National Golf Championships, hosted by Jamestown Community College, brought together elite two-year college golfers from across the country. For SUNY Adirondack, MacDougall's performance highlights a growing golf program and sets the stage for future national-level competition.
With his final putt on Friday, MacDougall not only completed a successful championship run but also left a mark as a proud representative of the Timberwolves on the national stage.
