NJCAA Golf Nationals, Day 3 Results
CHAUTAUQUA, N.Y. –
SUNY Adirondack golfer Mason MacDougall bounced back in impressive fashion during Thursday's third round of the NJCAA National Golf Championships, carding a strong +10 on the demanding Chautauqua Golf Club course.
The performance marks a significant improvement over his earlier rounds and pushes MacDougall into 59th place overall — a jump that reflects both his resilience and competitive drive.
MacDougall now holds a three-day total of +47 as he continues to represent SUNY Adirondack on the national stage. Thursday's round showed his ability to adjust to challenging course conditions, including swirling winds and difficult pin locations that have tested players all week.
Hosted by Jamestown Community College, the NJCAA National Golf Championships bring together top collegiate golfers from around the country for a four-day competition. Final round action tees off Friday, with standings determined by cumulative scores across all four rounds.
SUNY Adirondack and Timberwolves supporters will be cheering loudly as MacDougall looks to finish his championship run on a high note.
