The SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves women's volleyball team showed resilience and competitive spirit on Saturday as they hosted a quad match in Queensbury. Despite dropping both contests, the Timberwolves delivered closely contested sets and continued to demonstrate growth early in the season.
In the opener against Monroe Community College, Adirondack fought hard but ultimately fell in straight sets (3–0). The Timberwolves regrouped for their second match of the day against Finger Lakes Community College, where they pushed the Lakers in a tightly played battle before falling 3–1.
Several sets were decided by only a handful of points, showcasing Adirondack's ability to compete against strong Region III opponents. The team's energy, communication, and balanced play at the net kept each match within reach, signaling positive strides moving forward.
