SANBORN, NY —
SUNY Adirondack Softball dropped the first game of its road doubleheader against Niagara County Community College, falling 13–5.
The Timberwolves came out strong, jumping to an early 3–0 lead behind timely hitting and aggressive play. Cameron McClurg led the offense with two hits and three RBIs, providing a spark early in the game.
In the circle, Reagan Gebo got off to a strong start, keeping Niagara off balance through the early innings. However, late-inning struggles proved costly for Adirondack, as Niagara surged ahead to take control of the game.
SUNY Adirondack will look to regroup in game two of the doubleheader.
