Tough Loss for Timberwolves Against Ellsworth

The SUNY Adirondack softball team dropped a matchup against Ellsworth Community College on Sunday, falling 17–2.
Ellsworth jumped out to an early lead in the opening inning and continued to build on the momentum throughout the game.
SUNY Adirondack was led offensively by Emma Martens and Jenna Fantasia, who each collected two hits in the contest. Martens also drove in a run as part of a 2-for-2 performance at the plate.
Martens got the start in the circle for the Timberwolves, recording a strikeout during her outing.
SUNY Adirondack will look to regroup as they continue their season in upcoming play.
