The SUNY Adirondack softball team faced a tough opponent in the first game of their doubleheader against Niagara Community College on Saturday, April 5. Despite a solid effort, the Timberwolves fell short, losing 14-1.
Niagara's offense proved too much for the Timberwolves to handle, as they posted a dominant performance across the board. The lone highlight for Adirondack came from Emma Martens, who had a hit and an RBI in the game, accounting for the Timberwolves' only run. Despite the lopsided score, Adirondack showed resilience and effort on the field, and looked forward to bouncing back in the second game of the doubleheader.
