QUEENSBURY, NY —
SUNY Adirondack capped off its home finale with an 11-8 win over SUNY Broome, completing the sweep and extending its winning streak to four games.
The Timberwolves broke the game open with a massive eight-run sixth inning, turning the momentum in their favor and powering them to the finish.
Lucas Crystal led the offense with three hits and an RBI, while Tad D'Andrea, Charlie Gendron, Peter Baltis, and Louis Betit each drove in two runs in a balanced team effort.
Nick Sparzo earned the win in relief, helping secure the victory down the stretch.
The win marked a strong finish to the season for SUNY Adirondack. Despite the late surge, the Timberwolves fell just short of qualifying for the regional tournament.
