QUEENSBURY, NY —
The SUNY Adirondack baseball team fell in a close battle at home against Herkimer, 4–2.
Lukasz Smith turned in a strong performance on the mound for the Timberwolves, keeping Adirondack within striking distance throughout the game despite the final result.
Offensively, Charlie Gendron and Ryan Gillis each drove in a run for Adirondack, accounting for the team's scoring on the day.
The Timberwolves showed competitiveness on both sides but were unable to overcome Herkimer's timely hitting. SUNY Adirondack will look to bounce back in their next outing.
