SUNY Adirondack Women’s Volleyball Falls to Erie CC, 3–1, in Quad Match
Buffalo, NY —
In a mid-day quad match on Saturday, the SUNY Adirondack women's volleyball team challenged Erie Community College but came up short, dropping a 3-1 decision. Despite showing flashes of strong play, Adirondack was unable to sustain momentum throughout the match.
Erie came out strong and took the first set, while Adirondack fought back to claim the second. However, Erie re-asserted control in the third and fourth sets to secure the win.
Though the scoreboard wasn't what Adirondack hoped for, there were positives to build on. Strong defensive work kept many rallies alive, and the team showed resilience in Set 2.
The Timberwolves will regroup and take this experience into their next match versus Mohawk Valley on Tuesday, 9/17. Adirondack remains focused on refining their consistency and intensity as the season progresses.
