Women's Basketball Earns Landslide Win on the Road
Queensbury, NY —
The SUNY Adirondack women's basketball team captured its first victory of the season on the road, defeating Landmark College in decisive fashion.
Sophomore guard Hannah Gongola delivered a historic all-around performance to lead the Timberwolves, finishing with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 steals to record a triple-double. Gongola controlled both ends of the floor throughout the contest, setting the tone defensively and igniting Adirondack's offense in transition.
Abbigail Nadolny added 12 points, providing timely scoring, while Ryland Rist dominated the glass with 22 rebounds to go along with 10 points, securing a double-double and anchoring Adirondack's interior presence.
The victory marks a breakthrough moment for the Timberwolves, who showed resilience and balanced production in earning their first win of the year.
SUNY Adirondack will look to carry that momentum into its final game of the season on Saturday, when the Timberwolves travel to Hudson Valley Community College.
