Timberwolves Fall on the Road to Mohawk Valley
Utica, N.Y. —
The SUNY Adirondack women's basketball team dropped a road contest at Mohawk Valley Community College on Friday, facing a tough and experienced opponent.
Despite the final margin, the Timberwolves continued to compete throughout the game and worked to execute on both ends of the floor against sustained pressure. Adirondack remained engaged and played with effort from start to finish in a challenging road environment.
Hannah Gongola led the Timberwolves offensively, finishing with 13 points while connecting on three three-point field goals. Gongola's shooting provided consistent scoring and energy as Adirondack looked to generate offense against a disciplined Mohawk Valley defense.
The Timberwolves will use the experience as they continue to develop and prepare for upcoming Region III competition.
