Adirondack Women’s Basketball Falls to Onondaga on Saturday
Queensbury, N.Y. —
The SUNY Adirondack women's basketball team endured a difficult outing on Saturday afternoon, falling to Onondaga Community College.
It was a challenging game for the Timberwolves from start to finish, as Adirondack struggled to find rhythm offensively against an experienced and aggressive Onondaga squad. Hannah Gongola and Emily Gongola led Adirondack in scoring, continuing to compete and provide leadership despite the adversity.
The contest served as a tough but important measuring stick for a young Adirondack roster, highlighting areas for growth as the team continues to gain experience at the collegiate level.
SUNY Adirondack will look to respond from Saturday's result as the Timberwolves turn their focus toward continued development and the remainder of conference play.
