Queensbury, NY — The SUNY Adirondack Women's Basketball team tipped off their 2025–26 season at home on Sunday afternoon but fell to Broome Community College, 65–17, in their opener.
Freshman guard Abbigail Nadolny led the Timberwolves with 10 of the team's 17 points, showing hustle and leadership despite the difficult matchup. Sophomore Hannah Gongola also added 6 points of her own. Adirondack battled throughout the contest, gaining valuable experience as the young roster continues to build chemistry and adjust to the collegiate pace of play.
The Timberwolves return to action tomorrow as they continue Region III play at home against TC3 (12:00pm) at the SUNY Adirondack Gymnasium.
