Corning Takes Down Women's Basketball

SUNY Adirondack Women's Basketball hosted regional opponent Corning Community College in weekend play. With a deep roster, the Red Barons ran the floor and kept pressure on the Timberwolves throughout the first quarter. The scoreboard reflected that Adirondack wasn't ready for the battle. To their credit, they kept fighting. Corning took their foot off the gas but still earned the win easily.
Hannah Gongola was the standout for Adirondack earning 13 points in the game.
Final score: 70-21 Corning
The Timberwolves are off for the Thanksgiving break. They will be back on the court in two-game series on December 7 and 8.
