In a thrilling Region 3 matchup, the SUNY Adirondack men's soccer team earned a hard-fought 1–1 draw at home against Jefferson Community College on Saturday.
The first half featured back-and-forth play with both sides creating dangerous chances, but neither could break through as the teams entered halftime locked in a scoreless tie. Jefferson struck first early in the second half, capitalizing on an opportunity to take a 1–0 lead.
The Timberwolves continued to press and were rewarded in the closing minutes. Off a late corner kick, defender Riley Grant rose above the defense and slotted home the equalizer, sending the Adirondack bench and crowd into celebration.
