SUNY Adirondack Golf Posts Solid Scores at Herkimer Invitational
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. —
The SUNY Adirondack golf team turned in a solid performance at the Herkimer Invitational, held on May 3 at Mohawk Valley Country Club, with Tyler Plummer leading the Timberwolves with a round of 85.
Plummer's round set the pace for Adirondack on a course known for its narrow fairways and challenging greens. He was backed by Chaz Colucci, who posted a 90, and Elias Delate, who carded a 94 to round out the scoring for the team.
"The guys showed great resilience and focus on a tricky layout," said SUNY Adirondack Golf Coach Michael Yeager. "Every round is a learning opportunity, and they continue to gain valuable experience heading into the championship stretch."
The Herkimer Invite featured teams from across the region and served as a key tune-up for postseason play. The Adirondack golfers showed continued growth and competitiveness in a strong field.
SUNY Adirondack looks to build on this momentum as they prepare for future regional and national events.
