Timberwolves Roll Past Clinton, Strengthen Playoff Position
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. —
The SUNY Adirondack men's basketball team delivered a commanding performance at home, defeating Clinton Community College 99-73 in Region 3 action. The Timberwolves controlled the tempo from the start and never looked back, using a strong offensive rhythm and defensive pressure to secure the victory.
Freshman Ash Hunter paced Adirondack with 17 points, shooting an efficient 4-for-8 from beyond the arc to lead all scorers. Fellow freshman Mekhi Walker provided a major spark off the bench, pouring in 16 points and giving the Timberwolves valuable production from their second unit.
The win marks an important step for SUNY Adirondack as it improves to 14-9 overall, continuing to gain momentum at a critical point in the season. With the postseason approaching, the Timberwolves are positioning themselves for a strong playoff push and look to build on the performance in the games ahead.
