Queensbury, N.Y. — The SUNY Adirondack men's basketball team earned an 82–61 victory over Jefferson Community College on Sunday, closing out the weekend with another strong conference performance.
Sophomore Mariano Dicaterino led the Timberwolves offensively, pouring in 19 points while connecting on five shots from beyond the arc. His shooting sparked Adirondack early and helped create separation as the game progressed.
The Timberwolves relied on a balanced attack throughout the contest, moving the ball effectively and getting contributions from multiple players on both ends of the floor. Adirondack maintained control with consistent defensive pressure and efficient scoring, allowing the team to build and protect its lead.
The win capped a productive weekend for SUNY Adirondack as the Timberwolves continue to gain momentum in Region III play.
