Timberwolves Upset Regionally Ranked Onondaga on Saturday
Queensbury, N.Y. — The SUNY Adirondack men's basketball team earned a statement win on Saturday night, defeating Onondaga Community College, a top-five ranked team in the region, by a score of 118–103.
The Timberwolves delivered one of their most complete offensive performances of the season, placing seven players in double figures and showcasing depth, unselfish play, and sustained pressure throughout the game.
Freshman David Hutchinson recorded a career night, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks to notch a double-double and anchor the interior on both ends of the floor. Messiah McLaurin led all scorers with 23 points, while Jovanny Fabre and Mariano Dicaterino added 21 and 20 points respectively as Adirondack continued to attack from multiple positions.
SUNY Adirondack's balanced scoring and ability to maintain pace against one of the region's top teams proved decisive, as the Timberwolves controlled key stretches and responded to every challenge.
The victory marks a significant result for Adirondack as the Timberwolves continue Region III play with momentum and confidence.
