SUNY Adirondack Men’s Basketball Falls in Another Close Battle Against TC3
Queensbury, NY —
The SUNY Adirondack Men's Basketball team came up just short on Sunday afternoon, falling 84–81 to Tompkins Cortland Community College in a hard-fought Region III matchup at home. Despite a late rally, the Timberwolves were unable to withstand a late-game three-pointer that sealed their fate.
After a back-and-forth contest, ADK found themselves down three with seconds remaining. A last-second attempt by sophomore guard Jovanny Fabre to tie the game and force overtime was on-line but didn't fall, marking yet another narrow defeat for the Wolves. In their four losses this season, Adirondack has fallen by a combined 11 points, underscoring how close they are to turning the corner.
Three Timberwolves led the way on offense, each with 15 points.
-
JP Dickerson provided a strong all-around effort, also contributing to the defensive end with multiple steals.
-
Jovanny Fabre, who took the final shot, added energy on both ends and partnered with Dickerson to combine for 8 steals.

Freshman guard Ash Hunter continued his breakout campaign with another 15-point performance, showing poise in key moments.
SUNY Adirondack will hit the road on Wednesday for a major test against North Country Community College, one of the top teams in Region III. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
