Timberwolves Finish Season with a Victory over Columbia-Greene
The SUNY Adirondack Men's Basketball team finished off their season last night with a win over the Columbia-Greene Community College Twins, 100-86.
In his last game in a SUNY Adirondack uniform, sophomore guard Tavon Price did not disappoint. Price shot 14-22 from the field, including 4-6 from three-point range, on his way to a game high 34 points. Price also finished with 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Price finishes the season averaging 27.7 points per game, he is currently number one in Region III and number two in the nation in that category.
Freshman forward Darien Bigelow put together the best game of his Timberwolf career in the victory. Bigelow scored a career high 27 points along with a career and game high 18 rebounds. Bigelow also had a career best 8 assists.
Freshman guards Christian Russell and Victor Roca also scored in double digits for the Timberwolves with 13 and 12 points.
Following the victory, the Timberwolves finish the season with a 3-24 record. We thank all of the student-athletes and coaching staff for all of the hard work a dedication they have given to the program this season.
