JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. —
The SUNY Adirondack baseball team completed the doubleheader sweep over Fulton-Montgomery with a 6-5 victory in the second game on the road.
Despite some costly errors in the field that kept the game tight, the Timberwolves were backed by a sharp outing from Jimmy Johnson on the mound. Adirondack came through in the clutch late, as Patrick McKinley launched a go-ahead three-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wolves ahead for good.
SUNY Adirondack showed resilience throughout, overcoming mistakes to secure the sweep.
