QUEENSBURY, NY —
The SUNY Adirondack baseball team came up just short in the second game of a doubleheader against Jefferson Community College, dropping a 9-7 decision in a competitive contest.
The Timberwolves battled throughout, with Tommy Bishop and Tad D'Andrea each driving in 2 RBI to lead the offensive effort.
Despite the strong showing at the plate, SUNY Adirondack was unable to overcome Jefferson's timely hitting, as the visitors held on late to secure the win.
The Timberwolves earned a split on the day following their dramatic walk-off victory in Game One and will look to build on their offensive momentum moving forward.
