The SUNY Adirondack baseball team delivered a thrilling finish in the opening game of a doubleheader against Jefferson Community College, earning a 6-5 walk-off victory at home.
The game was decided in dramatic fashion, as Lukasz Smith raced home on a walk-off steal of home, capping off an intense back-and-forth contest and sending the Timberwolves into celebration.
At the plate, Tad D'Andrea led the way offensively with 2 hits and 2 RBI, helping pace a balanced SUNY Adirondack attack throughout the game.
The Timberwolves showed resilience all afternoon, staying within striking distance before executing in the game's biggest moment to secure the win.
