WATERTOWN, NY —

The SUNY Adirondack baseball team responded in a big way in the opening game of a doubleheader at Jefferson Community College, earning a 16-4 victory.

The Timberwolves' offense came alive, led by Louis Betit, who delivered 2 hits and 4 RBI, including a key home run that helped spark the scoring surge.

Tad D'Andrea also had a standout performance at the plate, collecting 4 hits and 3 RBI as SUNY Adirondack consistently applied pressure throughout the game.

On the mound, Pat Messineo turned in a strong outing, tossing 7 innings while striking out 5 batters to earn the win.
