UTICA, NY —
SUNY Adirondack Baseball dropped the first game of its road doubleheader against Mohawk Valley Community College, falling 5–3.
The Timberwolves saw a strong performance at the plate from Tommy Bishop, who recorded two hits and drove in a run to lead the offense.
On the mound, Adirondack received solid outings from Pat Messineo and Nick Sparzo, who kept the game within reach throughout. Despite the effort, the Timberwolves were unable to generate enough offense to overcome Mohawk Valley.
SUNY Adirondack will look to bounce back in the second game of the doubleheader.
