Cayuga Community College
QUEENSBURY, NY —
SUNY Adirondack Baseball dropped the second game of its doubleheader against nationally ranked Cayuga Community College, falling 9–5.
The Timberwolves jumped out to a strong start, building a 5–0 lead early behind RBIs from Patrick McKinley and Jacob Carroll, along with continued production from Louis Betit, who finished with three hits and an RBI.
On the mound, Jimmy Johnson turned in a solid outing, pitching five strong innings to keep Adirondack in control through the early stages. However, Cayuga responded with a six-run sixth inning, capitalizing on a combination of relief struggles and defensive miscues, as the Timberwolves committed three errors in the game.
SUNY Adirondack will look to clean things up moving forward as they continue their season.
