Timberwolves Complete Doubleheader Sweep with 7–3 Win Over Mohawk Valley
QUEENSBURY, NY—
SUNY Adirondack Baseball capped off a strong day at home by completing the doubleheader sweep of Mohawk Valley Community College with a 7–3 victory in game two.
The Timberwolves continued to roll offensively behind another big performance from Patrick McKinley, who stayed hot at the plate with three hits and two RBIs. Louis Betit also played a key role in the win, adding two hits and driving in a pair to help power the Adirondack lineup.
On the mound, Tad D'Andrea delivered a dominant outing, earning his second win of the season. D'Andrea racked up nine strikeouts, keeping Mohawk Valley off balance and in check throughout the game.
Out of the bullpen, Nick Sparzo once again slammed the door, picking up his second save of the day. Sparzo was electric over 2.2 innings of work, striking out five batters and securing the sweep for the Timberwolves. SUNY Adirondack will look to build on the momentum as they continue their season.
