Three Timberwolves Earn All-Mountain Valley Conference Honors
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. —
SUNY Adirondack softball had three players recognized for their strong performances this season, as Emma Martens earned First Team All-Mountain Valley Conference honors, while Natalie Conroy and McClurg were named to the Second Team.
Martens put together an outstanding all-around season, hitting .436 with three home runs and 24 RBIs. She also made a major impact in the circle, delivering key pitching performances throughout the year.
Conroy was a consistent presence at the top of the lineup, batting .381 with one home run and nine RBIs. Her speed proved to be a difference-maker, as she stole 19 bases and applied constant pressure on opposing defenses.
McClurg contributed across the board, hitting .311 with one home run and 11 RBIs, while adding 14 stolen bases. Her versatility and ability to impact the game in multiple ways were key for the Timberwolves throughout the season.
The trio played an integral role in Adirondack's success this year, providing production, energy, and leadership throughout conference play.
