The SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams kicked off the regular season Monday at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY. It was a tough outing for both teams with the women falling 10-0 and the men losing by the score of 10-1.
While it was not the start they were hoping for both coaches had positive things to say about the play they saw from their student-athletes. Coach Chris George, who is starting the first season as head coach of the Timberwolves, said they had some great moments in the game that they can build on going forward. Of those moments the best was an unassisted goal from Jamieson Baker, the first of his career.
The Timberwolves will be in action again on Wednesday September 4th when they will take on the Herkimer Generals. The women will kick things off at 2 PM followed by a 4 PM start time for the men.
