Timberwolves Defeat Saints in Straight Sets

The Timberwolves traveled into Adirondack Park to take on North Country tonight and came away with a resounding victory. They pulled off a straight sets win over the regional rival by scores of 25-17, 25-11 and 25-10. Breanna MacDuff stepped up as a passer assisting 18 kills through excellent passing. MacDuff and Kaicey Sardina each tallied 11 digs each to anchor the defensive effort of the team, which allowed the offense to make short work of the Saints. Isabella Shrestha dominated the front line with 7 kills and 2 blocks, complemented by Victoria Bruni's 6 kills. It was a team effort as everyone made contributions to the winning outcome.

The Timberwolves next play Saturday at Hudson Valley in POD play. They will play Niagara at 9:00am, Erie immediately following and after a short rest end the day against Jamestown.
