Lady Timberwolves Win Battle of Wolves

In the battle of wolves, Timber won out over Thunder. The Timberwolves came into the game needing a win and found it against the Thunderwolves of Niagara. Star keeper Kaylee Coon shut out the Thunderwolves on 18 saves as she continues to pace the NJCAA in saves and surpasses the 120 mark early in the season. The offense was provided by Kayla Bizon and Lauren Vetter who battled all day for who would be the offensive leader with Bizon edging out Vetter with a late goal to give her a hat trick on the day. Vetter scored 2 goals of her own and peppered the goal all day ending with 8 shots.

Wasana Fleming assisted 2 of the goals with Gianna Gazzelli assisting 1. Hannah Gould just missed an assist on a corner kick as Kayla Bizon's header rebounded off of the cross bar and she finished it with her right foot on the rebound.

The Timberwolves next play Monday against Word of Life in the Autism Awareness Match. Come out and wear blue!
