SUNY Adirondack Softball Wins a Pair in Doubleheader vs Hudson Valley

The SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves Softball Team swept Hudson Valley at Morse Field on Tuesday to stay undefeated in their conference. The Timberwolves won game one of the doubleheader by a score of 13-9 and then went on to win game two 7-6. 

In game one the Timberwolves defeated Hudson Valley in a high scoring affair 13-9. The Wolves had 13 hits as a team; Elizabeth Richards, Hannah Salmon, Danielle Flint, Kaylee Coon, Carly Hildenbrandt and Kiersten Brown all had two hits each. Salmon had three runs scored and an RBI, Flint and Richards both had two runs scored and two RBI's a piece. 

In game two Elizabeth Richards went all seven innings picking up yet another win, allowing two earned runs and striking out five all while going 2-4 at the plate with a run scored. Kaylee Coon was the offensive star of the game for the Timberwolves. She went 2-3 with a home run and a double, two runs scored and two RBI's. Hannah Grady and Kaitlyn Sarti had three hits each, Sarti added three RBI's for the Timberwolves. 

The Timberwolves return to action Thursday April 26th at Broome C.C.
