READ: Softball Continues Streak With Sweep At Tompkins-Cortland

The SUNY Adirondack Women's Softball team continued their winning ways with a double-header sweep at Tompkins-Cortland CC on Sunday. The Lady Timberwolves won the 1st game 9-5 behind the excellent pitching of Lizze Richards (Argyle, NY) and a 13 hit attack, once again led by Lindsey Decker (Clifton Park, NY) Decker went 2-4 with a monsterous 3 run homer and 5 rbi's. Demi Stockman (Fort Ann, NY) collected 3 hits and Lauryn Zovistoski (Granville, NY) who is ranked 4th in the nation at the Division III junior college level in batting, also was 2-4. Hannah Salmon (Niskayuna, NY) and Richards also had 2 hits and an RBI.

      In the 2nd game, the Lady Timberwolves came back from an early 5-1 deficit and slammed a whopping 10 runs in the 2nd inning, led by a 2 run home run by Kiersten "lefty" Brown (Glens Falls, NY). Zovistoski and Decker continued their hot hitting by going 3-4 with Zovistoski knocking in 2 runs and Decker 3. Hannah Salmon also swung a hot bat, going 2-4 with a 2 run double. Lizze Richards continued her winning ways, picking up her 8th win.
     The Timberwolves continue a busy final week as they travel to Hudson Valley on Tuesday for a double-header beginning at 3pm.
