Jonathan joined SUNY Adirondack's athletics department in August of 2017 as the first full time Director of Athletics in the school's history. Before arriving at SUNY Adirondack he served as the Director of Athletics for Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, North Carolina for a year, where he oversaw improvements to each of the department's sports programs. The golf and men's basketball programs produced Region Players of the Year with golf producing their first All-American in the history of the program. Departmental GPA saw a drastic rise of 0.6 points that led to increased retention, academic eligibility and graduation rates. Before moving on to Central Carolina Community College, Jonathan served for 3 years as Director of Athletics with Barber-Scotia College in Concord, North Carolina. There he led the efforts to improve academic performance and fund raising for the department which was very successful. Academic honorees from the conference more than tripled due to almost a full point of improvements in departmental GPA as well as an increase in graduation rates.
Jonathan holds a BA in Sport Management from Gardner-Webb University and a M.Ed in Sport Administration from Wingate University. Him and his wife, Kelli are from Charlotte, North Carolina and have 2 dogs, Little and Everitt.
