There are several great trails for training on the campus of SUNY Adirondack and in the neighboring communities. The most convenient trail, Meadowbrook, has an entrance at the back left corner of the multipurpose field space and is perfect for cross country training, conditioning exercise or just a leisurely jog to clear your head. Rush Pond Trail is another amazing option, located approximately 4 miles west of campus in Gurney Lane Recreation Area.
These trails are always open for SUNY Adirondack students, faculty and staff and are often utilized for Timberwolves Cross Country practice. As with any trail system there could be hazards on or around the trails including snakes, spiders, downed trees, loose rocks, roots or weather related hazards such as water, snow or ice. Please use caution when using our beautiful trail systems.
