All Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference Volleyball

The Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference announced the All Conference Volleyball Team today and Kaicey Sardina's name was on the top of the roster. Sardina garnered All Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference honors and MVCC Player of the Year distinction after having a spectacular season from the libero position. She took over the libero spot early in the season and flourished in the role as she led the team in digs and was Coach Li's top defender all season. She tallied 342 digs on the season, good for second in the MVCC, but paced the Conference in digs per set with 4.5. The sophomore's veteran leadership was pivotal in the 2nd place MVCC finish for the Timberwolves as her consistent back row play allowed her younger teammates to get comfortable in their roles around her.

Sardina is a two sport star for SUNY Adirondack who will be playing basketball this season as well. She hails from Fort Edward, New York where she starred in both volleyball and basketball for Fort Edward High School.
