Strong Finish for First Women's Soccer Team In Over a Decade at SUNY ADK

                The SUNY Adirondack Women's Soccer Team capped off the 2016 season with 5 wins after finishing the first season for Women's Soccer in over Ten Years at the school.  Led by Head Coach Zack Votra, the team finished with Wins over Paul Smith's College, Clinton Community College, St. Josephs College and two wins over Word Of Life, including the Double Overtime season Finale.  Senior captain Shannon Curley led the team with 20 points on 7 goals and 6 assists.  Closely behind Curley was freshman standout Lauren Vetter with 13 points on 5 goals and 3 assists.  The Timberwolves were backed by Senior Goalkeeper Amber Yarter, who finished 3rd in Region 3 for saves, and had four shutouts on the season.  After a very successful first season, the Timberwolves are looking toward the future and competing with the best teams in Region 3.  Anyone interested in joining the Women's Soccer team next season should E-Mail Coach Votra directly at votraz@sunyacc.edu.
